**What you will do as a Converting Machine Operator**:

- Strictly adheres to the company policies and procedures
- Match office samples or artwork with bags being made
- Conduct quality checks by comparing bags to docket specifications
- Carefully reads and accurately records any deviations in communication book and statistical charts
- Performs safety circle checks on equipment
- Signs into TORI and enters data throughout shift (ex: runtime, setup time, down time, scrap, make labels for finished product, etc.)
- Performs first-off quality inspection with another operator to check that product meets customers’ requirements
- Stocks up supplies, change rolls, zippers, valves, and etc. as required
- Keep production floor and machines clean and in an orderly manner
- Monitor machine settings during run and perform adjustments on machine to keep within customer specifications
- Identifies minor problems on machines and troubleshoots accordingly (e.g. change perps, and punches, assists to seal head changes, etc.)
- Write up work orders when repairs are needed (e.g. pink slips, NMR’s, etc.) with accurate information
- Communicate with operators and supervisors about issues related with machines
- Removes finished packaged items from machine and separates rejected items.
- Neatly packs product in cartons as per docket specification
- Places boxes on skid with appropriate labels to prepare for shipping
- Assist in any other duties required by the Converting Machine Operator

Requirements (Job Specification)
- High School Diploma
- Experience in operating various types of converting machinery and their troubleshooting will be an advantage
- Excellent attention to detail
- Holds themselves accountable to performance and quality standards

FlexLife Schedule
- 12-HR shift, 3 days a week
- Bi-weekly rotation (days/nights)
- 7:00AM to 7:00pm OR 7:00pm to 7:00AM
- Work 36 hours, paid for 40 hours*
- 16 days off a month*
