Help Desk Level 1 Intern

**Job Summary**
Join our growing IT team at Unionville College, where you’ll gain hands-on experience supporting a diverse set of technologies that empower our student body. As a Help Desk Level 1 Intern, you will play a key role in day-to-day IT operations. Your responsibilities will focus on providing technical support for devices such as Chromebooks, Windows Laptops and Audio-Video support.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Provide front-line technical support for users, including troubleshooting and resolving issues with Chromebooks, Windows laptops, and servers.
- Provide AV support. Work with lighting, sound, video and streaming equipment.
- Support cloud-based platforms such as Edsby, Google Workspace, Office 365, Exchange Online, and Entra ID
- Collaborate within an Agile team environment and learn methodologies using tools like Jira and Confluence.
- Provide support and management of devices.
- Additional responsibilities as assigned by the IT Manager.
**Required Qualifications**:
- Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Familiarity with Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, and EntraID.
- Basic understanding of IT best practices and industry standards.
- Ability to troubleshoot, configure, and manage hardware and software solutions.
- Strong communication skills and a willingness to learn in a collaborative team setting..
Commute to Stouffville Campus might be required.
**Contract Duration: from Jan 2, 2025 to August 31, 2025**

Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
