Help Desk Representative

Toronto Photography Association (TPA) is a premier hub for photography enthusiasts in Toronto, committed to fostering creativity, skill development, and community engagement. As we continue to grow, we are seeking a dedicated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Help Desk Representative.
As a Help Desk Representative at TPA, you will be at the forefront of member satisfaction, providing essential support and guidance to our photography community. This role involves addressing inquiries, technical issues, and membership-related concerns to ensure a seamless experience for our diverse membership base.
**Key Responsibilities**:
**Technical Assistance**: Provide first-level technical support for our website, online forums, and event registration systems.
**Membership Navigation**: Assist members with account management, registration processes, and navigation of TPA's online resources.
**Issue Resolution**: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to escalate and resolve complex member issues effectively.
**Record Keeping**: Maintain accurate and detailed records of member interactions, feedback, and resolutions.
**Continuous Improvement**: Contribute to the enhancement of member support processes by identifying areas for improvement and implementing proactive solutions.
**Qualifications**:
**Customer Service Experience**: Proven experience in a customer service or help desk role, preferably in a member-based organization.
**Communication Skills**: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information in a clear and understandable manner.
**Photography Enthusiast**: Passion for photography or a willingness to learn about the unique needs of our photography community.
**Problem-Solving Skills**: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
**Team Player**: Ability to work collaboratively within a team and contribute to a positive work environment.
**Technical Proficiency**: Familiarity with help desk software, customer relationship management (CRM) tools, and basic technical troubleshooting.
