**Job Title**

Actuarial Analyst, GRMI-International

**What is the opportunity?**

The successful incumbent will support actuarial reporting, risk management, and IFRS 17 transformation for the reinsurance product lines.

**What will you do?**
- Support actuarial financial reporting for the International reinsurance product lines to ensure effective completion of annual, quarterly and monthly actuarial processes.
- Support IFRS 17 transformation and implementation, including production of comparative runs, enhancement of downstream reporting and processes, etc.
- Support risk management function, including sensitivity testing and various risk reporting tasks.
- Contribute as needed to valuation modelling, in-force extract data updates, and annual experience studies.
- Assist in various actuarial projects as they arise.

**Must-Have**
- Bachelor’s degree (or above) majoring in Actuarial Science. Other relevant Majors (e.g. Business, Economics, Mathematics, or Statistics) are acceptable if accompanied with demonstrated knowledge of Actuarial concepts
- Minimum 2 to 3 exams completed
- Actuarial/insurance experience with demonstrated knowledge of professional standards of practice, the legislative environment and industry best-practices. Working experience with Moody’s AXIS is highly preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills, with the ability to be an innovative thinker and understand the "big picture"
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely with both technical and non-technical audience

**Nice-to-Have**:

- Working experience with Moody’s AXIS, R, Tableau, and SAS
- Knowledge of IFRS 17 requirements
