Fraser Delta Technical Group is a technical services firm operating in the Ports and Terminals industry. Our core services are strategy development, process implementation, data modeling, and project plan execution in Asset Management, Project Management, and Materials Management initiatives.

**Role**

**Responsibilities**
- Hold safety paramount in all activities related to work planning.
- Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (JDE) to plan preventative and corrective maintenance activities.
- Collaborate with maintenance and operations, to develop and implement comprehensive maintenance plans for the assets.
- Coordinate daily and weekly planning meetings related to maintenance planning and backlog review.
- Develop cost and time estimates for planned maintenance work.
- Perform quality control on maintenance plans with drawings, parts, and field verification.
- Review maintenance plans with foremen and planners for completeness.
- Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and the warehouse to procure spare parts and ensure timely availability for maintenance activities.
- Participate in preparing maintenance related reports, analyze data, and make recommendations for improving terminal operations and solving maintenance related problems.
- Work on rotating and weekend schedule is required.

**Qualifications**
- Degree in Mechanical, Mining, or Mechatronics Engineering and/or Red Seal Trade Qualification (T.Q.).
- Proven experience in maintenance planning and scheduling, preferably in the Ports and Terminals or Mining industries.
- Proficiency in Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) and computer-aided design (CAD) software.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret technical data, engineered drawings, and identify improvement opportunities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across multidisciplinary teams.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in equipment maintenance.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with bulk materials handling equipment (i.e. conveyors, dumpers, stackers, shiploaders) is preferred.

**Pay range**:
$90,000 to $110,000 depending on experience.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: $90,000.00-$110,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- Weekends as needed
