Pinecrest-Queensway Community Health Centre (PQCHC) is a not-for-profit community-governed organization. We provide comprehensive primary healthcare and innovative community programming through our multiple service locations in Western Ottawa and our regional programming. We are proud of having cultivated more than 80 partnerships which allow us to extend our services and connect residents to the support they need.

We are seeking individuals to join our Board of Directors who are passionate and dedicated and possess varied skillset to enhance our organization who:

- Live or work in communities served by PQ
- Have knowledge of the healthcare system
- Have diverse lived experience
- Legal skills/experience, preferably in the non-profit sector
- Governance and equity experience as a Board member in the not-for-profit sector
- Health Care System Transformation experience
- Experience in government relations, public affairs, or advocacy

As a policy/governance Board, members are expected to be informed on organizational matters and participate in the Board’s deliberations and decisions in matters of policy development, finance, risk mitigation and community advocacy. Board members serve in a volunteer capacity without remuneration.

**Board Meeting Location and Time**: Board meetings are scheduled on the third Tuesday of each month 5:30 to 7:30pm and are held both in person and via zoom as appropriate.

**Term**: 2 year - September 2024 until September 2026 with potential for additional terms. This position is covered by Director’s Liability Insurance. You can review the By-laws here.

Le Centre de santé communautaire Pinecrest-Queensway (CSCPQ) est un organisme sans but lucratif géré par la communauté. Nous recherchons pour notre conseil d'administration des personnes passionnées, dévouées et possédant des compétences variées pour renforcer notre organisation:

- qui vivent ou travaillent dans les communautés desservies par PQ
- qui ont une connaissance du système de santé
- qui ont une expérience vécue diversifiée
- des compétences/une expérience juridique, de préférence dans le secteur à but non lucratif
- une expérience de la gouvernance et de l'équité en tant que membre d'un conseil d'administration dans le secteur à but non lucratif
- une expérience de la transformation du système de soins de santé
- une expérience des relations gouvernementales, des affaires publiques ou de la défense des intérêts des personnes constituant notre clientèle

En tant que conseil de politique/gouvernance, les membres doivent être informés des questions organisationnelles et participer aux délibérations et aux décisions du conseil d'administration en matière d'élaboration de politiques, de finances, d'atténuation des risques et de défense des intérêts de la communauté. Les membres du conseil d'administration siègent à titre bénévole et ne sont pas rémunérés.

**Lieu et heure des réunions du conseil d'administration**: les réunions du conseil d'administration ont lieu le troisième mardi de chaque mois, de 17 h 30 à 19 h 30, en personne ou à distance, le cas échéant.
