Drafting and Site Audit Specialist

**Job Summary**:
Are you ready to embark on a career that combines the precision of drafting with the excitement of site audits? Fire Plan Strategies is seeking a versatile professional to join our team as a Drafting and Site Audit Specialist. In this role, you'll delve into various buildings across Canada, documenting their safety systems and hazards while also crafting detailed floor plans and emergency response signage layouts.
**Skills and Responsibilities**:
You'll need a strong command of AutoCAD and architectural drafting techniques, coupled with the ability to perform thorough on-site analysis of diverse buildings. Your critical-thinking skills will be vital as you identify key safety issues and recommend solutions during site audits. From high-rise buildings to schools and beyond, you'll annotate floor plans for our drafting team, ensuring accuracy and compliance with North American Architectural Standards.
Strong customer service skills are essential for success in this role, in addition to your technical expertise. During on-site visits, you'll interact with a variety of clients, demonstrating professionalism, empathy, and adaptability, especially in situations where unexpected challenges arise. Your ability to maintain composure and effectively communicate with clients will ensure positive relationships and successful project outcomes.
**Qualifications**:
Architectural experience is a must, whether gained academically or through previous work. Your adaptability and problem-solving skills will be crucial. Strong computer skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage tasks under tight deadlines are essential for success in this role.

Pay: $70,000.00-$80,000.00 per year
