- JOB RESPONSIBILITIES- Project management of non-innovation, new product launches (trade programs, packaging changeovers, etc.) with emphasis on supply chain planning inputs and outputs (materials availability, production scheduling)-
- Coordinate with cross-functional stakeholders to prepare senior leader presentation-ready content for weekly & monthly S&OP and Planning team performance reviews-
- Assist with portfolio optimization KPI tracking, analysis, and execution-
- Work with external suppliers and internal operations teams on planning one off, ad hoc repacking requests-
- Regional lead for S&OP processes for global Logistics Excellence program, ensuring we are adapting Best Practices and collecting evidence for annual audits-
- Lead the region of Ontario region to the delivery of step change improvements in cost and service.-
- Communication of regional performance on end-to-end of supply chain upwards on main performance indicators.-
- Responsible for reviewing the DRP (Distribution Requirements Planning) plan and the CPP (Constrained Production Plan) for the region division of the Supply Chain network-
- Implement the long-term strategy that will lead operations to operate at minimum system cost.-
- Implement leading practices, processes, dashboards within the Canadian Logistics operations.-
- Leading VPO, LCP, DPO Programs in Canada.-
- Identifying opportunities and performing deep dives for gaps on key performance indicators including service level and supply chain loss-
- Manage S&OP Business Cycle & Monthly Financial Reporting-
- Analyze specific drivers behind performance lines of P&L:- SCO analysis
- Logistic spend variance analysis
- Cost Management-
- ZBB owner for Ontario Logistics spend (including setting policies, building budget, routine analysis, drive efficiencies)
- Challenge regions on targets, find cost saving opportunities throughout year
- Create and maintain visibility into Logistics spend and provide VP logistics with direction on areas of opportunity / how to reallocate resources.
- Finance Planning-
- Lead Ontario logistics team during annual and LE planning process (planning model input and maintenance, analysis of data, insights, lead regional finance teams on process/calendar etc)
- Working with regional directors, customer marketing to build, analyze and challenge budgets throughout entire planning process
- Analysis of variance to budget and forecast for distribution, sales, share, MACO, and spend targets
- Development and utilization of standard reporting tools
- Provide analytical support for both TBS and BDL performance throughout the business cycle- JOB QUALIFICATIONS- University degree required in logistics, operations management or other related degree-
- five - eight years of relevant experience preferred, preferably in a production environment-
- Strong ability to use root cause analysis to solve problems related to training or skills development in an operational environment and ability to take action quickly-
- Proven leadership, communication, and influence skills in a fast-paced environment with varying priorities-
- Ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization, including senior management-
- Excellent training and presentation skills with solid communication capabilities and practices, both oral and written-
- Broad strategic thinker, with clear vision and passion for continuous improvement as a critical business philosophy-
- Demonstrated deep understanding of Supply Chain processes and strategy and relationships to financial planning.-
