**Responsibilities**
- Develop and implement health and safety policies and procedures
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and areas for improvement
- Ensure compliance with applicable health and safety regulations and standards
- Provide training and education on health and safety procedures to employees
- Investigate accidents and incidents and develop strategies to prevent reoccurrence
- Collaborate with management to develop and implement risk management strategies
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices
- Ensure that all necessary permits and licenses are obtained and maintained
- Coordinate emergency response activities and develop emergency preparedness plans
- Conduct regular safety meetings and communicate safety updates to staff
- Manage relationships with external health and safety agencies and vendors

**Requirements**:

- Degree or certificate in occupational safety and health, environmental science, or a related field
- Proven experience in a safety and health management role
- In-depth knowledge of safety and health regulations and standards
- Knowledge of industrial hygiene
- Demonstrated experience with WCB processes and return to work programs
- Previous experience in a 7/24 Manufacturing environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Detail-oriented and highly organized
- Certification in occupational safety and health (e.g., CSP, CRSP) is preferred
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite and safety management software
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Exceptional leadership skills and the ability to mentor and train staff
