**Job Duties**
- **Manage recruitment budget and organizational recruitment plans**:

- **Support initiatives to enhance the company’s diversity recruitment strategy through relationship building**:

- **Create and monitor job postings**:

- **Create, facilitate, and deliver training and professional development for administrators and managers on selection, recruitment, and retention processes design, develop and maintain the recruitment plan and process**:

- **Evaluate and implement new technology and training to ensure that the organization's needs are continually met**:

- **Work closely with human resource teams regarding staffing needs**:

- **Aligns workforce planning activities with organizational mission/objectives/goal**:

- **Liaison with management to identify personnel needs across all positions, including the possible creation of new positions**:

- **Project yearly recruitment expenditures for budgetary consideration and control**:

- **Evaluate recruitment and selection criteria to ensure conformance to professional standards and best practices; recommending revision as needed**:

- **Maintain current knowledge of pay equity, human rights, **labour legislation changes **and employment standards guidelines and laws in both Canada and the US**:

- **Aid marketing in establishing a recognizable "employer of choice" reputation for the company, both internally and externally**:

- **Network through industry contacts, association memberships, trade groups and employees**:

- **Lead the creation of a recruiting and interviewing plan for each open position and train **internal recruitment team and line managers on its usage**:

- **Create, update and revise job descriptions**:

- **Collects various forms of data from a wide range of sources to support problem solving and decision making**:

- **Utilize the Internet, social and professional websites for recruitment, as well as external recruitment agencies and job centres**:

- **Conduct regular follow-up with managers to determine the effectiveness of recruiting plans and implementation**:

- **Monitors and strives to reduce the costs of the recruitment process**:

- **Conducts recruitment for the managerial job positions (or key jobs in the organization)**:

- **Manages and develops the Talent Acquisition Specialist to make sure they are set up for success**:

- **Other duties shall be assigned as required**

Knowledge

Customer Relationship Management (CRM) Software
Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS)

**Requirements**:
Diploma/Degree in Human Resources or other appropriate field
Minimum 7-9+ years of proven success in a hand’s-on Human Resources recruitment management role
Minimum 3 years of management experience
Proven success building and implementing workforce-planning strategies, recruitment strategies and processes
Complex compensation and total rewards program development experience
Experience working with construction, demolition and trade union environments
Experience leading human resources policies and practices supporting US an asset
Highly developed analytical and problem-solving skills
