Manager - Human Resources Aurora ON

Our client is a leader in the printing industry with over 800 staff, a tenured leadership team, and a presence across North & Latin America. They are looking to add to their HR team due to recent growth and promotion.

Responsibilities:
  1. Talent Acquisition & Management: Lead recruitment, retention, and employee training & development.
  2. Performance Management & Development: Coach management on effective communication, conflict resolution, and team development.
  3. Employee Relations: Act as a mediator to resolve conflicts and create trust throughout the organization.
  4. Process Improvement: Stay updated on HR best practices to maintain an engaged workforce.
  5. Team Management: Develop and support a team of HR professionals, providing mentorship and guidance for their professional growth.
  6. Change Management: Lead the organization through changes to meet business objectives.
  7. Legislative Compliance: Stay current on trends and legislative changes affecting business units.
Ideal Candidate:

The Ideal Candidate will have post-secondary education in human resources and a CHRP designation would be an asset. They should demonstrate 5+ years of progressive experience, with 5+ years at a management level, preferably in a manufacturing or distribution environment. Strong communication, problem-solving, conflict management, and team development skills are required.
