Client Experience and Social Media Coordinator

Tea & Toast is particularly interested in hearing from you if you are self motivated, enjoy working in a virtual office and have sales and social media experience. Additionally, this role requires substantial attention to detail and unique problem solving skills. As part of a small team it is imperative that you enjoy wearing multiple hats and are able to switch between tasks easily.

This position is hybrid remote, meaning the employee may work from home or an office space and will also be traveling in and around the Ottawa area.
**Responsibilities**:
**Client Relations**
- Educate clients on Tea & Toast’s services as well as the retirement and long-term care industries.
- Client nurturing: Maintain, track and conduct follow up procedures.
- Operate within a virtual team setting using internal software for communication.
- Work closely with the CEO, Director of Operations and Senior Living Advisors.
- Manage time effectively to be efficient and flexible.
- Assist in nurturing relationships with retirement home marketers, social workers and community partners.
**Software and Database Management**
- Maintain and update Tea & Toast’s software and databases, including but not limited to: Google Drive, various spreadsheets, Customer Relationship Management Software, standard operating procedures, Zoom, Calendly.
- Conduct business via Tea & Toast’s exclusive methods and procedures including adhering to all policies and brand practices.
- Various tasks related to business development, expansion and other brands under the Amy Friesen umbrella.
**Social Media Management**
- Content creation and curation: Create engaging and visually appealing content for Tea & Toast's social media channels, including but not limited to Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn.
- Scheduling and creation software, including but not limited to: Canva, Active Campaign and Buffer.
- Leverage storytelling techniques to resonate with our audience.
- Identify and implement engagement tactics.
- Community Engagement: Foster a vibrant online community by proactively engaging with followers, responding to comments and messages, and facilitating conversations.
- Stay up-to-date of trends: Stay informed with emerging trends, tools, and best practices in social media marketing.
- Strong understanding of SEO principles and best practices
**Requirements**:
- Experience with social media platforms, algorithms, and trends.
- Very detail oriented.
- Friendly, compassionate, patient and empathetic.
- Sales experience.
- Strong computer knowledge and ability to adapt quickly to new programs.
- Team player.
- Can follow directions and adapt to new circumstances.
- Motivated and self starter, able to work independently and problem solve.
- Passion for helping seniors and families.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask.
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work.
- Resourcefulness, creativity.
- Schooling or experience related to marketing, sales, communications, geriatrics, social media.
- Ability to be present in Ottawa multiple times per month.
- Bilingual preferred.
Pay: $45,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
