**Hours**: 40 hours a week between 9 am to 5 pm PST

**Address**: 960 Quayside Dr #300, New Westminster, BC V3M 6G2
**Pay**: 47-55k (negotiable)
**WHAT WILL YOU DO?**
Specifically, the Human Resources Representative will be responsible for:
- Support the other members of the HR team in completing various administrative tasks and assisting as needed
- Conducting administrative human resources tasks to maintain employee records
- Secondary point of contact for employee inquiries
- Participating in ongoing and ad-hoc human resources project
- Providing onboarding support to hiring managers
- Perform various administrative functions such as updating employee data in HRIS, processing new hires and terminations, assisting with recruitment (i.e. interviews, background checks, etc.), employment letters, employee reports, mail/couriers, kitchen/office supplies, and maintaining employee files
- Ensures alignment with established policies and procedures
- Other duties as assigned

**Education and Experience**:
- Degree or diploma in Human Resources or Business (with a HR focus/specialization)
- One year of related experience in HR or customer service setting.
- Knowledge of employment standards and human rights legislation.
- Human Resources experience strongly preferred.
- CPHR certification or working towards
**Skills and Abilities**:
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate and interact with all individuals.
- Efficiency in oral and written communication skills; ability to effectively communicate and interact with all individuals with integrity, empathy and sincerity.

The purpose of the Human Resources Representative is to provide support to managers in the assigned region(s) for a variety of Human Resources functions. Under general supervision of the Human Resources Business Partner, the HRA is responsible for working closely with managers in their designated regions to provide support in onboarding and offboarding, and employee record management.
