**Multiple Culinary Positions Available**

Signature Culinary Solutions is a solutions-based company providing top services in all aspects of culinary innovations in the Canadian and the US markets. Our business provides culinary consulting, gourmet catering, and food manufacturing. With further expansion of our business launching February 2023, we have an increased demand for:

- Research and Development
- Kitchen management
- Chefs
- Cooks and Food handlers
- Prep cooks
- Weighing and decanting / Spice blends and other ingredients
- Hot Kitchen Sauce and Marinade/ Large format Sous vide cooking
- **Responsibilities**_
- Assist kitchen to accomplish tasks in an efficient and organized manner.
- Prepares high-quality food items according to standardized recipes and instructions to meet production, delivery, and service schedules.
- Ensure traceability and food safety by tracking lot codes and temperatures.
- Practice proper labeling and ensuring product is being used FIFO.
- Cleans kitchen after preparation, maintaining a high standard of cleanliness.
- Keeps refrigerators and storerooms clean and neat. Ensures food and supply items are stored per standards.
- Operates and maintains kitchen equipment as instructed.
- Assists in production planning, record keeping and reporting as required.
- Assists in the ordering and receiving of all food and supplies as required.
- Reports maintenance needs, faulty equipment, or accidents to supervisor immediately.
- Attends safety meetings.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- **Job Terms**_
- Job Type: Permanent Full-time and Part-time with weekend availability
- Shift hours: 8:00am - 4:30 or 2:00pm - 10:30pm generally but fluctuate for business needs
- Work Location: Brantford, Mississauga, and Etobicoke
- Shift Requirement: Must be flexible to work mornings and afternoons, including weekends.
- **Qualifications**:_
- Food Handling Background
- Understanding of large-scale production and assembly
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to lift to 50 lb
- Understanding of basic food safety standards
- Clear understanding of Hospitality and Service and the Customer Experience
- Process Oriented and Results Driven
- Current in the latest food production techniques

**Experience**:

- Cooking: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Food Safe, SafeCheck, Food Handler or equivalent (preferred)
