Job Description:
**Responsibilities**:
- Work with the team to identify and document acceptance criteria as it relates to functional, unit, integration and regression testing- Work with the development team to identify and adopt a test automation tool and framework- Co-create automated testing scenarios with development team to continuously build on a suite of test automation to speed up our CI/CD pipeline- Identify, quantify and record details related to any issues found during testing into the selected ticketing system- Thoroughly analyze newly discovered issues in order to contribute to resolution- Participate in various types of testing with other Cogeco teams- Creates or adjusts test cases to reflect any changes in functionality or new features- Identify deficiencies or errors in test cases and flag them for review- Use a test case management system to execute test cases and record results- Participate in overnight (or weekend) roll-outs by executing regression tests in production environments (once monthly)- Perform other project/squad duties as required (e.g. contribute to user stories, training material, data entry, reporting)- To support Cogeco’s ultimate goal of providing excellent service to current and potential customers, the incumbent must be constantly attentive and responsive to both external and internal customers’ needs and assist in the resolution of any issues or concerns in a timely and professional manner while ensuring that the solution meets the customer’s needs.

ACADEMIC TRAINING- Diploma in Computer Science, or related discipline or a combination of equivalent work experience and education

WORK EXPERIENCE- Minimum 3+ years of working in Quality Assurance testing or cumulative experience in testing methodologies such as UAT (as a business stakeholder)- Minimum 3+ years experience in Order Management and product/equipment provisioning systems-
- Proven experience with test automation tooling including writing test automation scripts- Experience with building / refining testing frameworks in the context of enterprise systems

SPECIFIC COMPETENCIES- Technical ability to create reports and dashboards.- Experience with testing Salesforce products and integrations- Experience with test case management software an asset- Experience with JIRA or ticketing systems an asset- Understanding of telecom products, services, technology.- Bilingualism (French/English) is an asset- Ability to uncover defects quickly with a critical eye- Planning, logical thinking and troubleshooting skills- Ability to provide input into personal and team objectives.- Self-management to deliver on set objectives- Self-motivated with the ability to take initiative to proactively anticipate, identify and prevent/resolve problems independently.- Handles conflict empathetically and openly encourages other team members to voice their ideas and concerns.- Good written and verbal communication skills.- Shows respect for differences and diversity, and disagrees without personalizing issues.
