**Purpose of the position**

**Duties and Responsibilities**

**Planning and enablement responsibilities include**:

- Develop short
- and long-term forecasting on a rolling monthly and quarterly cadence
- Support the development of annual sales quotas and territory planning
- Become intimately familiar with conversion and close ratios and lead projects that drive system improvements required to improve insights
- Ongoing evaluation of the technology stack related to your responsibilities for optimization and automation
- Work closely with SMART's Data Science and Operations team to ensure UCE reporting is providing relevant and accurate information
- Assist UCE leadership with financial modeling to evaluate business proposals and impact analysis
- Support territory review and analysis. Review current size, coverage, and revenue potential from key markets. Provide recommendations and adjustments based on analysis.
- Initiate, implement and administer customized support projects and programs to enable field productivity and revenue delivery
- Keep a pulse on large opportunities and market trends
- Assist with general sales support relating to phase-in and phase-out of new product, order fulfillment for special circumstances and more.

**System and process optimization responsibilities include**:

- Review, optimize and maintain short and long-term forecasting processes to improve forecasting accuracy.
- Champion new system that enable easier working conditions
- Process mapping
- Identify, design, document, test and drive business process changes with a focus on achieving positive outcomes for SMART

**Other responsibilities**:

- Assist and lead projects as required
- Other duties as required

**Education & Work Experience**
- 5 years of Sales Operations, Revenue Operations and/or Business Analytics experience
- BA/BS in Business, Marketing, or a related field
- Strong analytical skills (including mastery of Microsoft Excel) and experience with reporting and data analysis. Demonstrated data analytics ability to critically look at performance data and draw constructive conclusions from the results
- Self-starter with high attention to detail who excels at multitasking and thrives in a fast-paced environment
- Sound decision-making abilities and proven follow-through skills to ensure issues are fully resolved
- Technically capable, excellent communicator, and a desire to improve processes
- Effective leadership skills, with a strong focus on operations and business processes
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize and shift workload to meet deadlines

**Supervision**:

- This role does not have any direct reports
