The Opportunity

Are you a self-driven and passionate individual? AgeCare’s Ontario office is looking for a Supply Chain Coordinator. The Supply Chain Coordinator will be responsible for oversight of procurement decisions relating to corporate vendors and suppliers in both the hospitality and infrastructure divisions. This includes regular touchpoint meetings with our GPO partner to review vendor pricing negotiations, supply disruptions, velocity reports, and support strategic purchasing decisions to optimize rebates. The Supply Chain Coordinator will also consult with our vendors on a regular basis to manage contracts and consult with stakeholders on standardized products used within the Ontario portfolio and across AgeCare.

What You Will Do:

- The Supply Chain Coordinator will be responsible for Strategic Sourcing and Category Leadership, including all sourcing of goods and services for AgeCare Ontario Supplier management and savings and value reporting/rebate capture, and ensuring business continuity with availability of supplies.
- The Supply Chain Coordinator will delivery budgets and ensure material prices are managed in keeping with inflationary increases or reductions.
- Act as the main point of contact for GPO Procurement Consultants, acting in the role of key decision-maker in areas of product substitutions and changes to Locked/Managed Order Guides.
- The Supply Chain Coordinator will be the main point of contact for all vendor relations as they relate to standardizing products available to the homes and leading and guiding major purchasing decisions.
- Ensures compliance with Workday processes for all hospitality related operations and trains and supports the sites in supply chain compliance requirements.
- The Supply Chain Coordinator will ongoingly assess areas of need for product standardization and escalate recommendations, accordingly, including aligning with decisions in Western Canada where appropriate.

What You Bring:

- Bachelor’s degree in business or related field required.
- 3 years of experience in contract coordination/or supply chain coordination.
- Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills with a proven ability to create and maintain positive working relationships with vendors, suppliers, shippers, and customers.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, organizational skills, and attention to detail.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software. Workday experiences is a plus
