Reporting to the Supervisor, QA/QC, the Inspector will be responsible for assessing the mechanical integrity and safety of equipment and executing the inspection needs for Redwater Nitrogen Operations. The inspector will be responsible for maintaining the pressure equipment integrity management system at Redwater Nitrogen Operations.

**What you will do**:

- Inspect pressure vessels, pressure piping, pressure relief devices and tanks
- Monitor corrosion of vessels and pressure piping systems
- Conduct nondestructive testing
- Compose technical reports
- Complete data entry in the Inspection Management Database (Visions)
- Support fitness for service evaluations
- Maintain a strict adherence to the Nutrien Pressure Equipment Integrity Management System Manual.
- Responsible for ensuring equipment inspections are completed and maintaining Zero overdue.
- Provide recommendations to head of department in consultation with Inspections Group and Mechanical Integrity SMEs
- Take leading role in assigned mechanical integrity initiatives

**What you will bring**:

- High School Diploma is required
- A Technical Institute Certificate or a Journeyman Trade Certificate in a related discipline
- 4 to 10 years’ experience
- API 510 Certification and ABSA IPV Certification is required
- API 570 and API 653 are strongly preferred
- Competent in performing NDE techniques (LPI, MPI, PMI)
- High degree of accountability
- Strong verbal and written communication skills combined with a demonstrated ability to organize and manage multiple priorities
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, SAP and Quality Assurance Programs
- Knowledge/experience with Risk Based Inspection (RBI)
- Knowledge of Visions asset management software preferred
