Bahaviour Management Specialist A

**Required Qualifications**:
- Graduation from an approved college or university with a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology or closely related field with major course work in Psychology in the areas of child development, learning theory and principles of behaviour management.
- Demonstrated knowledge of individual program planning, functional analysis, program design and treatment ethics, and behaviour management techniques.
- Demonstrated comfort with meeting with clients, facilitation and travel throughout the region.
- Demonstrated strong oral and written communication, management and analytical skills, and the ability to work as a member of a team.
- Demonstrated considerable experience in the design and development of behavioural interventions.
- Use of a private vehicle and valid driver license are a condition of employment.
- Consistent demonstration of the core values of NL Health Services: Innovation, Compassion, Accountability, Respect, and Excellence (I CARE)
- Satisfactory record of work performance and attendance is required for this position.
- A satisfactory certificate of conduct from the RCMP or local police authority.
**Hours of Work**: 75 hours bi-weekly (Shift work may be required)
**Salary**: CG-38 ($36.00 - $40.16)
**Competition No**: P-2024000456-HCS
