IWD Transport Inc is looking to hire an experienced container dispatcher to grow our dispatch team.

Duties
- Planning and dispatching according to customer requirements, container availability, yard hours and company policies and regulations.
- Finding the most cost-effective manner to accomplish profitable margins with measurable targets;
- Working closely with dispatchers and drivers to ensure most efficient movement of containers;
- Responding to customer’s inquiries and facilitating the resolution of any problems;
- Managing drivers and coordinating use of equipment in a cost-effective manner;
- Tracing and tracking of containers and obtaining reservations;
- Updating dispatch system timely and accurately;
- Minimizing any additional costs, storage, yard pulls empty mileage;
- Performing other duties as required.

- Excellent communication skills with clients, drivers and co-workers;
- Ability to multitask and set priories;
- Ability to work independently and as a member of a team;
- Accuracy and attention to detail;
- MS Office proficiency and intermediate computer skills.

**Experience**:
Post-secondary education or GED and work experience

3 years of dispatch experience

Job type: Full time

Job Location: Mississauga, ON

Languages required: English, Second language an asset

**Salary**: $55,000.00-$80,000.00 per year

Schedule:
