**Note: This contract will require the consultant to work from the office location 3 days per week with the remaining 2 days being worked remotely.**

**Description**

**Responsibilities**:

- Works in partnership with clients, advising them on information technology in order to meet their business objectives or overcome problems, work to improve structure and efficiency of an organization?s I&IT systems.
- The I&IT Consultant may be used to provide strategic guidance to organizations with regard to Information Management & IT technology, IT infrastructures and the enablement of major business processes through enhancements to IT.

**General Skills**:

- Acts as the technical advisor/expert on all aspects of a specific deliverable Provide the quality assurance/quality control of specific deliverables
- Anticipates and resolves problems to ensure that the deliverables are completed within budget, to the highest quality, meeting or exceeding expectations
- Develops processes and procedures for implementing deliverables
- Prepares reports and presentations including options, recommendations, implementation plans, etc.
- Works with clients to define the scope of a project and to determine requirements
- Defines software, hardware and network requirements
- Analyzes I&IT requirements giving independent and objective advice on the use of I&IT
- Designs, tests, installs and monitors new systems and develops solutions and implementation of new systems
- Familiar with change-management principles and methodology
- Knowledge and understanding of Information Management principles, concepts, policies and practices

**The skills and competencies required for the assignment include**:
**a.** More than 7 years of experience with technical hands-on solutions development, configuration

**b.** Experience with the following Technologies:

- OpenID Connect Protocol
- Java Proxy
- Spring Boots 4
- Maven
- HTML5
- JavaScript
- Cascading Style Sheets
- Java Pipeline with DevOPS
- Tomcat 10
- JRE 11

**c.** Knowledge of and Experience with Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA) compliance guidelines.

**d.** Experience with end-to-end integration of Third-Party Identity and Access Management (IAM) provider, security, authentication and encryption tools / services.

**e.** Strong knowledge of and experience with Testing and Quality Assurance Methodologies and best practices.

**f.** Strong ability to work under pressure, work with aggressive timelines and be adaptive to change.

**g.** Superior verbal and written communication skills.

**h.** Ability to develop and present new ideas and conceptualize new approaches and solutions.

**i.** Excellent interpersonal relations and demonstrated ability to work with others effectively in teams.

**j.** Demonstrated ability to work with functional and technical teams.

**k.** Demonstrated experience with facilitating workshops and meetings.

**l.** Demonstrated ability to participate in a large team and work closely with other individual team members.

**m.** Demonstrated experience with OPS Quality Assurance Activities.

**Salary**: $85.00-$90.00 per hour
