**Overview**

**Responsibilities**
- Develop and implement age-appropriate educational activities that encourage children's growth and learning.
- Provide attentive caregiving, ensuring the safety and well-being of all children in the classroom.
- Create a welcoming and inclusive environment that respects the diverse backgrounds of all children.
- Observe and assess children's development, documenting progress and communicating with parents as necessary.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall educational experience and maintain a positive classroom dynamic.
- Facilitate play-based learning experiences that promote social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization within the classroom to ensure an optimal learning environment.

**Experience**
- A background in early childhood education is essential, with relevant certifications preferred.
- Previous experience working with children in a caregiving or educational setting is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of child development principles and best practices in early childhood education.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with children, parents, and team members.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also demonstrating initiative in individual responsibilities.

Pay: $18.50-$22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 37.5 per week
