Daycare Cook

**Job Summary**

**Duties**:

- Prepare and serve healthy meals and snacks in accordance with food safety guidelines.
- Assist with food handling and meal preparation, ensuring cleanliness in the kitchen area.
- Maintain a safe and clean environment for the kitchen at all times.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the daycare setting.
- Prepare meals based on a pre determined Menu.
- Prepare food orders on a monthly basis.
- Must know how to bake.

**Qualifications**:

- Experience in food service or the food industry is preferred, particularly in food handling and preparation.
- Knowledge of food safety practices is essential.
- Strong interpersonal skills to interact positively with parents, and staff.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
- Previous experience in a daycare setting for food preparation is required.

Pay: $18.00-$22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32 per week
