Daycare Cook

**We are looking for a cook to join our amazing team at our daycare located in Ville Saint-Laurent.**

**The hours are half days from 8 AM - 2PM ( hours may be adjusted)**

tasks are;
- preparing morning and afternoon snacks for children, as per the schedule provided
- preparing hot lunches for the children - menu is provided and all ingredients delivered weekly
- cleaning and keeping kitchen clean according to MPAQ standards, this means, the floor, countertops, fridge, stove, cupboards are to be kept clean)
- regular inventory of kitchen equipment and supplies (weekly order)
- general housekeeping - help with morning cleaning prep

**THIS IS IDEAL FOR MOMS **
Working ½ days really allows a good work/life balance for moms with little children, this way, you are able to drop them off at school in the morning and still have plenty of time for pick up when your shift ends. A work schedule that begins at 8 AM and finishes at 2:00 Pm is ideal for that need.

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 30-35 per week

**Salary**: $14.25-$24.33 per hour

- AEC / DEP or Skilled Trade Certificate (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Cooking: 3 years (required)

**Language**:

- English (required)

Licence/Certification:

- Food Handler Certification (preferred)
- Food Safe, SafeCheck, Food Handler or equivalent (preferred)

Shift availability:

- Night Shift (preferred)
- Day Shift (preferred)
