Fast forward to 2023, ITN has expanded their product offerings, importing many of the premium brands from India and Pakistan.

The QA Supervisor oversees all activities of the Quality Department. This includes managing and overseeing food safety compliance, leading government and third-party audits and inspections, managing and overseeing the HACCP Program, and SQF system. Helps promote quality culture through leadership, ownership, and accountability.

**Responsibilities**:

- Setup and maintain the lab for testing food quality.
- Knowledgeable in food labeling requirements.
- Develop and Monitor product safety and quality control, production process, Distributed & Non-food products as well ensure practicing per Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's).
- Development, modification, and implementation of QA/QC related SOP’s and Forms.
- Assisting in developing bill of material for all production and packaging SKUs.
- Familiar with the domestic food safety inspection procedures and legal requirements.
- Responsible for company registration with GMP, HACCP & BRC Quality Systems.
- Responsible for keeping control and monitoring system of stationary item, gloves, mask & all cleaning item. Inform Supply chain well in advance if any requisition required.
- Responsible of purchase, use, maintenance, and calibration of laboratory equipment.
- Collection and submission of microbiological samples, either final product or environmental.
- Responsible for the sale of scarps item and used machine which help to clean and maintain the warehouse.
- Participate and assist in various New and existing employees Food Safety and Quality training.
- Perform various swabbing for the product safety monitoring.
- Inspect incoming and outgoing materials and approve/disapprove their release and usage.
- Communicate with other departmental personnel to meet food safety and quality compliance, and provide assistance to other departments as needed or requested.
- Inspect every product we receive and bring the sample to office for each new product.
- Participate in agreement with CFIA, Agriculture Canada, US FDA, US department of Agriculture and Health regulations through inspections of the facility to ensure food safety and quality standards are met.
- Follow all company policies and procedures for safe work practices and also GMP, SQF, Attendance, report and log immediately on any incidents.
- Any damaged or expire product received form the customer should be fix and notify before going back in shelves.
- Strong focus on the cleaning and sanitation of the entire warehouse facility including production and the retail area.
- Maintain the retail area on weekly basis and check the expiry of the products.
- Inspect all the forklifts on every Monday & maintain the water level according to the requirement.
- Maintain the log sheets of each forklift on weekly basis.
- Responsible for maintaining the production sheet and MRN.
- Responsible of all branches orders completion as per company’s SOP.
- Reviews and maintain weekly report related to machineries issues, ensures problems are resolved, and follows-up on supplier complaints with corrective actions and preventive measures.
- Other duties as assigned by the management.

**Education/Training**:

- Bachelor’s Degree in Food Science and Technology or a related field.
- Proven people management skills.
- Knowledge of computers (Word, Excel) is required.
- Strong written & verbal communication skills.
- Problem-solving skills.
- HACCP training.
- Internal Auditing experience.
- Experience managing SQF programs preferred.
- Minimum 5 years experience of related industry experience.
- Must be able to demonstrate competency in assessing food safety risk.

Pay: $60,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
