**ABOUT THE ROLE**:
**WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING**:

- Develop, implement, and communicate procurement strategies, policies and procedures in alignment with the company's goals and objectives.
- Oversee the end-to-end procurement process, including vendor selection, negotiation, contracting, and supplier relationship management.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement initiatives to optimize procurement spend while maintaining product quality and service levels.
- Build and maintain relationships with key suppliers, fostering collaboration and driving continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, such as IT, finance, legal and operational teams, to align procurement activities with business needs and priorities.
- Utilize data analytics tools to analyze procurement trends, track key performance indicators, and generate reports for management review and decision-making.
- Identify and mitigate procurement risks, such as vendor instability and price changes.
- Monitor market trends and supplier performance, providing insights and recommendations to senior management.

**YOU ARE SOMEONE WITH**:

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in procurement, with at least 3 years in a leadership role within the software industry. Experience with third party risk management is an asset.
- Proven track record of developing and implementing successful procurement strategies, driving cost savings, and improving operational efficiency.
- Strong negotiation skills and experience in contract management and supplier relationship management.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the ability to interpret data and market trends to inform procurement decisions.
- Demonstrated leadership skills, with the ability to lead and develop high-performing teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners.
- Strong business acumen and strategic thinking, with a focus on driving value and delivering results.
