Provide relevant background that will help the applicant understand how the job fits in your area and the context within which it operates.
**Job Summary**:
Assist in overseeing the Ambassador Program and in the planning and coordination of recruitment programming efforts. Provide administrative support and event logístical support for a variety of events and activities.
**Accountabilities**:
- Support the planning, coordination and execution of recruitment initiatives to attract prospective students and covert offer holders, under the direction of staff.
- Assist with coordinating and delivering training to the ambassadors and providing ongoing leadership and guidance.
- Participate in the selection process for ambassador executives and volunteers, alongside staff members
- Attend recruitment meetings with staff related to topics such as strategy, event planning, post-event/initiative reflection.
- Maintain comprehensive records of all ambassador initiatives, plans, logos, schedules, etc.
- Communicate with the ambassador team on a regular basis; assessing volunteer engagement and strategizing new ways to increase participation and identifying steps to gather and incorporate volunteer feedback.
- Update and maintain a variety of information relating to ambassador program; help conduct research to inform recruitment strategy
**Qualifications**
**Education**: Full-time student status and a minimum sessional GPA of 6.0 must be achieved.
**Experience**: Previous related experience is considered an asset.
