**OVERVIEW**:
Alberta Blue Cross® is currently seeking an enthusiastic individual for a temporary (12-month) position to join our Business Enablement team, working in a flexible work style arrangement. The Business Strategy and Planning Analyst will deliver reporting and analysis expertise to internal clients and key decision makers which will improve operational productivity and drive business transformation through storytelling.

This position reports to the Manager, Strategy and Planning.

**WHAT YOU WILL DO**:

- Use data and analysis to creatively build condensed and visually stunning presentations that are accurate, concise, and verifiable.
- Work in partnership with various business areas to identify and drive transformative and strategic change aimed at improving operational productivity and exceptional performance.
- Develop predictive analytics and forecasting models through an understanding of the business environment, along with external factors and market conditions.
- Develop trust-based relationships within the organization to help drive business process improvements.

**WHAT YOU WILL HAVE**:

- Strong analytical and logical thinking skills with the ability to solve complex problems.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to develop trust-based working relationships with individuals at all levels of the organization.
- Proven track record of being organized, committed to accuracy, and detail oriented.
- Excellent organizational and priority management skills combined with demonstrated reliability, consistency, flexibility, and adaptability.
- Capacity for self-motivation with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
- Exceptional proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
- Strong knowledge of data visualization tools such as PowerBI, MicroStrategy and Tableau.
- Minimum of 5 years experience analyzing data and producing high-quality data driven deliverables.
- An undergraduate degree or diploma in Business, Economics, Accounting or equivalent experience.
