**Recruiting on behalf of a client for a Digital** **Marketing Specialist**

**About the Client**:
Our client is the leader in the property restoration with mulitple locations from coast to coast. They provide restoration services to insurance, commercial and residential clients including; emergency response, water damage mitigation, fire and contents cleaning, mold remediation, complete reconstruction and much more, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. They return damaged property to its pre-loss condition quickly and efficiently.

**Position Title: Digital Marketing Specialist**

**Location**:Ontario, Canada (Mostly remote, 2 - 4 times a month in office)

Office is located at 80 Sherbourne Street (Sherbourne + Adelaide)

**Reporting To**: National Manager, Marketing & Communications

**Role Summary**:
To be successful in this role, you should have excellent writing skills and experience with design and layout work for a variety of channels. As the Marketing Specialist, you will develop original content and suggest creative ways to attract more customers and promote our brand, both B2B and B2C. Ultimately, you should be able to increase our brand reach and recognition, as well as customer engagement metrics aligned with broader marketing strategies.

**Responsibilities**:

- Support business partner’s website development, traditional and digital marketing strategy, SEO and digital advertising needs
- Write, edit, and produce high-quality and engaging print material and web communications that reflect well on the organization and encourage readership.
- Manage website updates and assist with social media content.
- Assist clients with SEO and SEM initiatives including online presence and create brand awareness
- Collaborate with the marketing team and other DKI departments to ensure consistent messaging and brand representation on all communications.
- Assist with the creation of PowerPoint decks and other internal communications.
- Tracking digital marketing performance to ensure KPI’s are met
- Support strategic projects, research and other initiatives as required.
- Conceive, plan, and produce a wide variety of marketing and promotional materials.

**Qualifications + Requirements**:

- 3+ years of experience in a digital marketing role working with multiple clients or relevant communications and marketing experience such as planning, implementing, monitoring, and reporting on campaigns (organic and paid).
- University degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism or equivalent, or a post-secondary diploma program in Journalism, Communications, Public Relations or Digital Marketing is preferred
- Experience in working in a client-facing role is an asset
- Time management skills and ability to multitask
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and project management skills.
- Strong copywriting skills and verbal communication skills

**Knowledge and Skills**:

- Superior written and oral communication skills with a passion for storytelling and experience producing editorial content.
- Knowledge of all major social network and media sharing platforms, SEO (including keyword research and Google Analytics), and Google Ads.
- Certification in Google Analytics and Ads
- Knowledge of Canva
- Experience with developing graphic elements.
- Proficiency in social media management tools (e.g., HeyOrca, Hootsuite, etc.)
- Microsoft suite, including PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
- WordPress or Webflow.
- Photoshop, InDesign is an asset.
