We are seeking a Corporate Services Manager to join and lead our corporate team of four paralegals and legal assistants, and to work with our Partners to implement and achieve business and strategic operation goals. This position requires a leader who takes both a client-focused and team-focused approach, and who is highly organized, diligent, and experienced with corporate legal procedures and management of people. We have a number of technologies and procedures in place to support your role with efficiency, but we would value someone who takes initiative to improve those procedures and to create new ones.

**In this role, you would**:

- lead, supervise, mentor, and train our corporate team, including evaluating proficiencies and identifying areas for improvement
- maintain and foster a positive and supportive environment within the corporate team and between the corporate team and teams in other practice areas of the firm
- prepare senior-level corporate and commercial legal documents for complex transactions, such as corporate reorganizations and tax-related share exchanges, share and asset purchases, limited partnership formation, share and unit subscriptions, and incorporations
- oversee preparation by the corporate team of annual reports for over 2,500 companies
- allocate legal work among corporate team to balance workload and optimize work product
- monitor and improve the efficient flow of information and documents within the corporate team and between the corporate team and corporate lawyers
- work with lawyers to build and evolve precedent documents in ALF and other document automation software
- compile and analyze department statistics and reports through ALF and practice management software to identify concerning trends
- assist with interviewing and hiring corporate paralegals and legal assistants
- ensure corporate team and procedures are updated with changes in legislation and practice
- oversee and implement special projects
- work with the partners to conduct performance reviews

**We are looking for someone with the following qualifications and traits**:

- 8 or more years as a paralegal in a busy corporate practice
- 2 or more years' experience in training or management
- Fluency in ALF Corporate software
- A paralegal certificate or diploma from an accredited post-secondary institution
- Punctual and pro-active, with strong organizational skills and high attention to detail
- Exceptional communicator and problem solver
- Ability to manage stress in a positive manner
- Ability to work with mínimal supervision
- Team-oriented with strong leadership and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Adaptable to new technology and software

**Salary**: $85,000.00-$110,000.00 per year
