RESPONSIBILITIES AND JOB REQUIREMENTS:

- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and perform well under pressure
- Strong verbal and friendly customer service skills in greeting and seating guests
- Let patrons know of wait times and contact them when a table becomes available
- Answering the phone
- Maintaining and organizing reservations for arrival
- Maintaining a clean, tidy and welcoming front of house experience including guest washrooms. 30 min washroom checks are the responsibility of the host
- Seating guests at designated tables while engaging in friendly conversation
- Cleaning, bussing and resetting tables for service in a quick and timely manner
- Answer some questions regarding food and beverages as well as engage with guests regarding current offers or on going promotions
- Packing up takeout orders and receiving and taking payment
- Strong organizational and problem solving skills
