**The Position**

We are currently seeking a Marketing and Communications Coordinator to join our team. In this new role, with a focus on brand awareness and driving engagement, you will primarily be responsible for the creation and execution of all social media content and day to day management of their platforms.

**Marketing Coordinator Job Responsibilities (including but not limited to)**:
**Social Media and Website Management**:

- Day-to-day management of all social channels including content creation, analyzing engagement data, and planning digital campaigns to promote our goods and services and build our online community.
- Responsible for creation and execution of on-brand, on-trend content to appeal to prospective customers.
- Align content with the strategic objectives of the company.
- Interact and engage with community and industry partners.
- Monitor and evaluate key social media and website performance metrics, make recommendations for improvement.
- Develop content calendar for reoccurring / ongoing social media posts including relevant “days” and “months” (i.e. National Administrators Day, National Safety Month)
- Implement strategies to improve SEO performance
- Maintain landing pages on website - recommend changes to improve design, functionality, and user experience.
- Coordinate significant changes with third party web developer as required.
- Continuously explore new platforms, tools, features, technology and best practices that will contribute to our success.

**Communications**:

- Assist with planning and execution of staff events, holiday celebrations, customer gifts, and other creative engagement opportunities.
- Coordinate the quarterly Newsletter by collecting input from Managers, generating new novelty content for each issue, and working with Design on layout and format.
- With support from HR, manage the internal digital communication platforms throughout our facilities.
- Support Sales in hosting Clients for plant tour and corporate events
- Assist Management in planning and execution of team building outings.
- Support HR in executing effective recruitment campaigns via digital, print, events, community and other innovative channels.
- Build relationships with community partners (Sandbox, Georgian College, etc) to create brand awareness and identify opportunities that benefit the company.

- Ability to effectively manage projects and complete them in a timely, accurate and cost-effective manner.
