**The Position Purpose**

The role of the eCommerce User Generated Content (UGC) Specialist, reporting into the Data Enrichment Supervisor, is focused on increasing manage User Generated Content for Homedepot.CA. The UGC Specialist, in working closely with the UGC product vendor, will look to increase both native and syndicated Rating and Reviews, develop vendor Q&A strategies, introduce innovative User Generated Content programs that drive engagement, and publish reporting pertaining to the performance of User Generated Content.

**Responsibilities**:

- 20% - Work closely with UGC product vendors to explore and develop innovative solutions that result in increased Ratings product coverage across Homedepot.CA.
- 20% - Provide reporting and insights to HomeDepot Merchandising and eCommerce stakeholders relating to the performance of User Generated Content
- 20% - Collaborate with internal and external partners to develop standards and processes that enhance User Generated Content on HomeDepot.CA.
- 10% - Develop and maintain vendor outreach programs that look to drive vendor engagement across product page Questions and Answers.
- 10% - Mature User Generated Content product syndication by leveraging existing brand relationships.
- 10% - Moderate all inbound consumer content and address escalations as they arise.
- 10% - Continuously improve User Generated Content processes by capturing and analyzing the appropriate social data/metrics, insights and best practices, and then acting on the information

**Experience / Knowledge Required**:

- The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a bachelor's degree/diploma program or equivalent degree in a field of study related to the job is required
- 2-3 years of Social Media or Digital Content management experience.
- Excellent consulting, writing, editing, presentation and communication skills.
- Demonstrable social networking experience and social analytics tools knowledge.
- Capable of consistently meeting reasonable deadlines, quotas or demands for accuracy.
- Clearly able to articulate the ROI attributed to User Generated Content.
- Strong multi-tasking and organization skills with the ability to flex and remain objective.
- History of delivering results on time.
- eCommerce experience required, retail knowledge a bonus.
