**The Opportunity**
We are seeking an experienced Head Cook to lead and support the kitchen's day-to-day operations. As the Head Cook, your responsibilities will include providing leadership to our kitchen staff and managing the kitchen's daily operations including prep, inventory management, and cleaning. Other responsibilities include:
- Prepping, cutting, cooking, and grilling all ingredients needed for service
- Managing and delegating all kitchen tasks with the team
- Responsible for leading and managing the kitchen’s inventory levels and reporting to the Owners
- Closely managing food waste and controlling the food quantity for daily service
- Collaborating with on-shift employees to execute daily operational responsibilities
- Support with menu development and recipes
- Ensuring compliance with all food safety regulations
- Leading by example and adhering to all Doraji policies and procedures
- Fostering a positive work environment through effective leadership
- Ensuring the continued growth and success of the restaurant by developing and communicating a strategy that delivers outstanding business results
- Providing strong career advancement opportunities within the organization
**Who You Are**
- Minimum +4 years of experience in Food & Hospitality with culinary experience required
- Experience working in a Korean kitchen is seen as a strong advantage
- Motivated, with a strong entrepreneurial drive, proactive, and accountable
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and handle pressure with professionalism
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
