**Responsibilities:**
- ** Compensation & Benefits Management**:

- Develop, implement, and manage competitive compensation and benefits programs that align with UniUni’s business strategies and goals.
- Conduct regular benchmarking and market analysis to ensure the competitiveness of compensation and benefits packages.
- Oversee the administration of employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, wellness programs, and other perks.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and provincial laws and regulations related to compensation and benefits.
- ** Payroll Operations**:

- Manage payroll processes for both the United States and Canada, ensuring accurate and timely processing of payroll for all employees.
- Coordinate with finance and accounting teams to ensure proper reporting and reconciliation of payroll-related accounts.
- Address payroll inquiries and resolve any payroll discrepancies in a timely manner.
- ** Tax Compliance**:

- Ensure compliance with North American tax regulations, including federal, state, provincial, and local taxes.
- Stay current on changes in tax laws and regulations that impact payroll and benefits administration.
- Coordinate with external tax advisors and auditors as necessary.
- ** HR Support**:

- Collaborate with HR team members to support talent acquisition, performance management, employee relations, and other HR functions.
- Provide guidance and training to managers and employees on compensation and benefits-related matters.
- Participate in HR projects and initiatives to enhance overall HR service delivery.

**Requirements:**
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in compensation and benefits management, with at least 3 years in a similar role covering both the US and Canada.
- Extensive experience in payroll operations and tax compliance in North America.
- Strong knowledge of federal, state, and provincial employment laws and regulations.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret and use data to inform decision-making.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with employees at all levels of the organization.
- Proficiency in HRIS and payroll software systems.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) or Certified Benefits Professional (CBP) designation.
- Experience working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

**Compensation and Benefits:**

The hiring range for this position ranges from CA$70,000 - CA$80,000. Your actual level and salary will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on the following considerations: job-related knowledge and skills, education, and experience.
