We are currently recruiting for an Automotive Service Advisor to work at one of our Cambridge, Ontario and Kitchener, Ontario locations. A Service Advisor is responsible for listening and taking note of customer needs related to the regular maintenance and/or repair of their vehicle. A Service Advisor is expected to provide exceptional service to each and every customer, at all times.

Description of Duties/Expectations:

- Acknowledge walk-in customers immediately upon their arrival
- Service customers with the utmost professionalism and make a special effort to ensure that every visit is an enjoyable experience
- Advise customers regarding their service decisions by gaining a comprehensive understanding of their symptoms or requirements
- Rectify customer complaints/concerns in a courteous and professional manner
- Keep shop Manager informed of any problems regarding shop or customer related matters
- Schedule service appointments for customers,
- Prepare and relay work orders,
- Keep records of all customer interactions and transactions.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

- Experience in a sales or customer service role involving automotive service, tires, parts and accessories
- Experience in the tire and automotive service industry an asset
- Demonstrated customer service skills
- Demonstrated computer skills
- Valid driver’s license
- Some knowledge of tools and equipment
- Strong organizational skills
- Strong time management skills
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Ability to work unsupervised and independently
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Automotive repair and preventative maintenance sales
