The Yellowhead Youth Centre is a campus-based treatment facility for adolescents with significant trauma-related issues. We are currently looking to hire permanent full-time Male and Female Child & Youth Care Counsellors.

Working collaboratively as an integral member of a multi-disciplinary treatment team, where no two days are the same, you will be responsible for:

- participating in all aspects of individual therapeutic treatment planning;
- monitoring and recording behaviors and outcome progress;
- overseeing and arranging daily treatment plan activities; and
- supporting youth to be successful/working towards well-being.

**Qualifications**:
Child and Youth Care Degree or Diploma is preferred. Related Human Services diploma or degree may also be considered.

Must possess a valid Class 5 Driver’s License

**Assets**:

- Previous experience in youth care, preferably in a therapeutic campus-based care setting, working with Indigenous populations, and other training (such as High-Risk De-escalation, etc.).
- Current training and certification in First Aid with CPR, Suicide Intervention, are also considered assets.
- Related diplomas and degree’s include Human Service Worker Diploma/Degrees, Social Work Diploma/Degree, Criminology, Criminal Justice, Correctional/Police Services Diploma, Psychology/Sociology Degree (major/minor) and Education.

**Salary**:
$2,173.03 to $2,785.31 (Bi-weekly)
