Chilliwack, Canada Little Blessings Early Learning Centre Full time

Little Blessings is looking to hire a fun, reliable, and responsible ECE or ECEA to work at our In Home Centre 3-4 days/week, for 10 hours/day (hours can be discussed) We are a family friendly multi age daycare and we have 8 wonderful children enrolled. We believe that all children are “blessings” and are all created special and unique. Little Blessings is a non-biased Christian based daycare, and we want everyone to feel welcome.

Little Blessings is open Monday
- Friday, closed for all stats, 2 weeks during the Christmas break, and closed for 2 non-consecutive weeks in the summer. We are open 7am-5pm.

**Who can apply**:

- Must maintain a valid ECE/ECEA certificate
- Up to date Child Care First Aid training
- Clear criminal record check
- Must have knowledge of, and abide by licensing regulations
- Must be able to act friendly and professionally towards the parents and provide a safe and nurturing environment for the children.

**Responsibilities**:

- Come into work with a good attitude, ready to work, and ready to provide the children with the best care you can give them. Passionate and energetic about their job
- Must be reliable, appropriately dressed and practice proper hygiene, arrive on time for work.
- Must read and understand our Centre's policies and procedures, as well as licensing regulations.
- Able to interact with the children, provide daily art and developmentally appropriate activities.
- Must always maintain open and honest communication with parents and staff.
- Help children prepare for lunch and snack times, as well as help children with toileting and diapering.
- Must maintain a neat and tidy working environment. Cleaning up behind yourself during the day, ensuring the children are clean and cared for.
- Must be able to maintain confidentiality of all information related to the Centre, the families, and the children.
