Overview:
I am seeking a part time passionate Early Childhood Teacher to work along side me as a support worker/assistant to the classroom. If you have a love for educating and nurturing young minds, this role is perfect for you.

Located in a small centre run out of the basement of my home in Promontory, Chilliwack, BC.

Qualifications of ECEA, EA or ECE accepted. RA's will be considered if actively working towards ECEA.

ECE's will get the $6 Wage enhancement on top of regular wage.

Shift:
Mon/Weds/Fri

8:50am-1:50pm

2 week break at Xmas and in Spring corresponding with School District 33. Closed on Stats. Open on sd33 pro d days. "Perfect shift for parents trying to squeeze in a workday between school hours."

Start Date

Sept. 4th 2024

Contract for 10 months (Sept-June) with possibility of extending for next school year depending on the needs of children registered.

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide individualized attention to each child's needs
- Assist in supervising children both indoors and outdoors
- Foster a positive and supportive classroom atmosphere

**Skills**:

- Experience in caregiving or working with children
- Strong educational background in Early Childhood Education,
- Knowledge with working with neurodivergent children an asset
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Patience, creativity, and a genuine passion for working with children
- Basic cleaning duties
- Help with prep work and curriculum planning

**Job Types**: Part-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 10 months

Pay: $21.00-$25.00 per hour
