In accordance with the Vision, Purpose, Values, and strategic direction, Northern Health aims to continuously improve processes and systems to enhance the quality of care services. The Regional Lead, Process Improvement provides oversight, mentoring, coaching, and operational management support to the Process Improvement team. The incumbent provides mentorship and coaching to individuals and teams working on business process management initiatives to incorporate best practices in Layered Enterprise Architecture Design (LEAD) and process improvement methodologies and standards. The Lead works closely with the Regional Manager, Continuous Improvement; Planning, Quality, and Information Management (PQIM); Service Network; and Operations leadership to assess current work processes and practices, identify duplicative or redundant processes, identify performance monitoring opportunities, and align processes within Process Architecture layer and Strategy Layer of the Business Architecture of Northern Health.

Starting salary will be approximately from $80,935 to $101,168 and will be based on education, training, experience, and salaries of similar positions

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Public Administration or related field;
- Five (5) years of progressive and related work experience, including planning and deploying both business and I.T. initiatives and modeling business processes using a variety of tools and techniques;
- Or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
- Previous experience in health care or familiarity with health care information an asset.

- Demonstrated strategic thinking and analytical skills.
- Ability to lead a team, including performance management, change management, and work planning.
- Ability to identify, document, analyze, and improve processes collaboratively with leaders and teams, including experience modeling business processes using a variety of tools and techniques.
- Demonstrated knowledge of model-based representations that can be adjusted as required to collect, aggregate or disaggregate complex and conflicting information about the business.
- The ability to visualize and create high-level models that can be used in future analysis to extend and mature the business architecture.
- Extensive experience planning and deploying both business and IT initiatives.
- Ability to communicate appropriately at all levels of the organization both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to act as liaison conveying information needs of the business to IT and data constraints to the business.
- Team player able to work effectively at all levels of the organization.
- Ability to influence others to move toward consensus.
- Strong situational analysis and decision making abilities.
