The Operations Supervisor reports to the divisional Operations Manager. The supervisor is responsible for the execution of the divisional production plan while coordinating and overseeing the timely completion of all day-to-day business operational activities with a focus on maximizing efficiency. The supervisor will work closely with fellow management and team members on the execution of key deliverables. As a member of our divisional operations team, you will play a key role in obtaining profit contribution for our location while helping lead staff on the strategic direction and business objectives put forth by the Operations Manager, and General Manager.

In this leadership role you will be responsible for setting a good working example and maintaining a positive work environment. Developing strong working relationships and clear communication between all departments is imperative.

**Responsibilities**:

- Supervising operations including and not limited to packaging, production, and receiving
- Communicate and execute plans with a team that can vary between 2 and 20 employees
- Record and monitor output metrics and identify opportunities for improvement
- Train new employees in operational processes and protocols
- Ensure compliance with safety and professional standards within a facility
- Establish and maintain communication with the Department Manager or Coordinator to ensure that operations are running effectively and efficiently
- Assist with inventory management
- Become familiar with all Company concepts, practices, and procedures
- Responsible for confidential and time sensitive material
- Supervising a team of employees and provide guidance and support
- Setting performance goals and objectives for the team
- Monitoring productivity and quality of work
- Identify areas for improvement and implement process enhancements
- Collaborating with other departments to ensure efficient operations
- Participate in regular performance evaluations and discussions
- Address employee concerns and resolve conflicts

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience in a supervisory or managerial role with large and diverse groups
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to make decisions under pressure and solve problems effectively
- Experience with production processes
- Proficient in using computer systems and software relevant to the role (i.e. MS Excel)
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends if required during peak seasons
- Spanish language skills are an asset, but not required
- Must be able to safely lift up to 50lbs

**Salary**: $19.00-$22.00 per hour
