As a Retail General Manager, you will lead a team dedicated to selling merchandise, crafting exceptional shopping experiences, and cultivating loyal brand enthusiasts. You'll craft captivating retail spaces through monthly and quarterly merchandising directives, captivating in-store and virtual displays, and expertly trained staff. Your mission is to provide unparalleled in-person and virtual customer service, effectively promoting our full range of high-end, specialty products.

**WHAT WILL YOU DO?**
- Lead and inspire the sales and customer service teams to convert customers into passionate brand advocates.
- Curate engaging retail environments with compelling displays and well-trained staff.
- Deliver exceptional in-person and virtual customer service, effectively showcasing and selling products.
- Manage day-to-day operations, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Oversee multiple store locations, including the primary location in Calgary and satellite store in Banff, maintaining consistent merchandise presentation.
- Manage custom orders, guide customers through options, and process transactions.
- Represent the brand during sales events and convey the brand's story to diverse audiences.
- Assist with event setup and breakdown, both on-site and off-site.
- Participate in outreach campaigns to corporate and retail clients.
- Collaborate with the sales and marketing team on special projects and orders.
- Support omni-channel sales initiatives and manage inventory.
- Promote the brand's heritage and modern western narrative to customers.
- Monitor and enhance the retail environment in line with brand directives.
- Collaborate with business partners to develop effective sales action plans.
- Facilitate the integration of e-commerce and physical store strategies.
- Support growth of the custom shop through standards implementation and stylist training.
- Forecast merchandise requirements using a blend of analytics and intuition.
- Manage, coach, and develop your team to ensure their success.
- Bring passion, meticulous attention to detail, and positive energy to the business.

**WHAT WILL YOU NEED?**
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a retail management or supervisory role, preferably in footwear.
- Experience in high-end luxury sales in a customer-facing environment with excellent customer service skills and natural sales ability.
- Energetic, adaptable, and results-oriented personality. Self-motivated and achievement focused.
- Strong alignment with brand aesthetics and growth goals with an operational efficiency mindset, continually seeking improvements.
- Understanding and comfort in analyzing sales and financial metrics and managing inventory control. An ability to make recommendations, in alignment with production team, to create efficiencies, manage costs and increase margins.
- Ability to set clear objectives and inspire team growth.
- Recognized proficiency in delivering online customer service and sales inquiries.
- Genuine brand advocate and effective team player.
- Resourcefulness in a rapidly changing retail landscape with a willingness to learn and contribute.
- Proactive with a sense of urgency, prioritization skills, and strong accountability. Ability to multitask and excel in a fast-paced environment.
- Custom order or personalization sales experience is advantageous.
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
