The Production Coordinator / Lead Hand oversees all activities related to refinement of cannabis isolate, and the manufacturing of extract-based products.

**Responsibilities**:

- Assist with cannabis oil production: extraction, filtration, distillation and crystallization and comfortable handling highly volatile solvents.
- Assist in the development of new products.
- Maintenance of all equipment related to the production process and must be very handy with tools and be able to handle 50 lbs of weight.
- Maintain strict inventory control over starting materials, intermediates and finished products.
- Maintain batch production records in accordance with standard operating procedures.
- Comply with GMP, Standard Operating Procedures, and in accordance with health and safety standards at all times.
- Resolve work problems and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality.
- Ensure compliance with company standards for cost control, waste reduction, quality, safety, and complete and on-time delivery.
- Coordinate and oversee technicians' work assignments and special projects.
- Responsible for sample preparation, reviewing Certificates of Analysis, and identifying product specifications deviations
- Responsible for lab maintenance and sanitation
- Ensuring 100% compliance and accuracy involving all product tracking, product security and product production
- Ensures that all processing activities are carried out as per Standard Operating Procedures to produce consistent quality cannabis products
- Maintain and adhere to all company policies and procedures.

**Qualifications**:

- Must have Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, biology, engineering or related education specific to departmental role (diploma, certificate).
- Experience with ethanol extraction, distillation and separation processes
- Experience with writing SOP’s, performing tests, analyzing experimental data, and documenting results
- Ability to keep an accurate inventory in real-time
- Must possess excellent communication skills for liaising and communicating staff, vendors, and other departments
- Must have security clearance.
- Previous manufacturing or lab experience is preferred
- Experience in botanical extractions, equipment maintenance and basic lab practices would be an asset
- Detail-oriented, note-taking, and record-keeping skills
- Strong work ethic and positive team attitude

**Salary**: $70,000.00-$80,000.00 per year
