**Salary**: $27.11 - $33.84/Hour

Language Requirement: Bilingual

Working Hours: Part-time, as required. The position will be strictly part-time from November 2024 to July 2025 and full-time from August to mid-September 2025.

Job Reports To: Associate Producer, Zones Théâtrales

**Key Activities**:

- Zones Théâtrales is a biennial event whose mission is to present and promote professional theatre from Francophone communities across Canada and the Quebec Regions. The 2025 edition of Zones will take place from September 8 - 13, 2025.

The incumbent’s responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

- Preparing and implementing a communication plan;
- Preparing and implementing a marketing plan (including media placement for the event, with the support of the NAC’s agency);
- Overseeing media relations for the biennial;
- Preparing and implementing the social media plan;
- Writing content for the event website and promotional tools, and coordinating their translation;
- Coordinating the production of promotional tools and publicity material;
- Compiling the post-event media report;
- Supporting the organization in several other tasks related to the smooth operation and production of the event.

**Skill Requirements**:

- Post-secondary degree in business administration, marketing, communications or related field;
- Minimum of three (3) years experience in a similar position;
- Relevant training or experience in communications/marketing;
- Excellent communication skills;
- Experience in public relations and press relations;
- Ability to communicate (orally and in writing) and address internal and external audiences, ensuring clarity of message and encouraging action;
- Team player with strong organizational and leadership skills;
- Excellent command of spoken and written French;
- Good knowledge of English;
- Knowledge of the theater industry (an asset);
- Knowledge of/interest in the Franco-Canadian cultural scene (an asset);
- Passion for the performing arts;
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365, Teams, Word and Excel;
- Knowledge of cloud-based tools used to save/share large content/files, such as SharePoint, Google Drive, Dropbox and iCloud;
- Available to work in the office six (6) days out of ten (10), as well as weekends or evenings during the event.
