Intervention Worker

_Do you want to accompany women in their social re-affiliation process and their reintegration into housing? You like animating activties and organizing outings, while being part of the day-to-day life of women and creating meaningful relationships?_
**Chez Doris** is looking for intervention workers to ensure that every woman who lives in our residences feels safe and respected, and that services are consistent with Chez Doris' mission. They can animate activities and organize outings. They can also intervene in crisis situation, manage visitors and provide active listening when needed, all without judgment.
**Possible schedules**:
- Sunday to Tuesday, 3:30pm to 10:30pm
- Thursday to Saturday, 3:30pm to 10:30pm
- Saturday and Sunday, 8am to 3pm

**If you have**:
- Relevant education or training in social work, psychology, or social sciences;
- Solid experience working in a similar organization/community;
- Extensive knowledge of homelessness, mental health and substance abuse issues and resources;
- An interest in indigenous cultures and traditions, or relevant experience working with indigenous populations.
**And if you are**:
- Bilingual (English and French)*.
- You have an exceptional talent for working with people.
- An ability to remain calm, focused, and attentive to detail and,
- Able to multi-task and adapt quickly.
*Bilingualism is mandatory for this position as 70% of Chez Doris' clientele is English speaking.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 14-21 per week
**Salary**: $20.00-$24.00 per hour
