The Reintegration Worker works with male clients of Welcome Hall Mission. The worker welcomes the men, assesses their needs, accompanies them in the various steps they will have to take and follows up on them. He collaborates with the person in charge of admissions to the reintegration program in selecting future participants. In collaboration with the intervention team, the intervener ensures the development of the participants' autonomy through access to stable housing and integration into the job market. He also participates in the development and animation of various workshops in reintegration. The worker supports the organization in the various administrative tasks related to the different programs of the service.
Job type:
- Full time (37,5h per week)
- Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm
- Permanent
- 23$/h
Apply**Primary Tasks and Responsibilities**:
- Evaluate the clients’ needs on a personal, social and professional level
- Accompany the clients in the development of their autonomy
- Accompany the clients by developing action plans and providing necessary support
- Guide and assist clients towards social services and existing external resources
- Meet with client to evaluate their progress, encourage them and discuss encountered problems and difficulties
- Maintain program statistics for evaluation purposes
- Performs any other related task

- Excellent oral and written skills in both English and French
- Ability to work under pressure
- Have obtained one of the following diplomas: Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Drug Addiction, Criminology, Psychoeducation, Psychology, School Adaptation, Guidance Counselling, Nursing, Sexology, Psychosocial Intervention or an equivalent College level training.
- Three (3) years of experience in a similar role is an important asset
