**A day in the life of a Community Relations Coordinator**:
The Community Relations Coordinator works closely with Community Relations Director, General Manager and Regional team to achieve the Residence’s sales objectives through lead generation and lead conversion activities such as, developing relationships with qualified referral sources, holding public relations events to promote goodwill in the Residence, presenting the Residence on tours with potential residents and their families, closing sales and retaining and enhancing Amica culture and values in all interactions. The Community Relations Coordinator executes sales objectives in consultation with Community Relations Director
**Key Duties**
- **
Generates and cultivate leads in consultation with Community Relations Director and General Manager **by**:
- producing and maintaining both external and internal referral relationships with local and professional networks, and current residents, respectively, to develop prospective residents;
- organizing and carry out successful on and off-site special events and activities, including cold calling, presentations, and attending local functions in the surrounding Residence, which may include trade or mall shows, speaking engagements, sponsorships, membership in Residence organizations, events, or volunteer boards
- assisting in maintaining sales and marketing collateral
- reviewing and implementing residence-specific elements of the marketing program and is accountable for proper management of the marketing budget
- **
Converts leads to sales **by**:
- making outbound calls inviting prospective residents, their families and friends to tour the Residence and experience resident life in person;
- working to develop and convert leads from various lead generation sources, such as _Senioropolis, _to confirmed move-ins;
- discovering prospect needs and wants to successfully negotiate terms of Resident Agreement with prospective residents; and
- securing and completing each sale within the parameters of Amica values and expectations.
- ** Maintains market awareness **by**:
- monitoring and collecting information on competitor retirement living communities and completes competitive reports to ensure current knowledge of the competition, including their products and price offerings in order to sell
- **Responsible for upkeep of sales database.**:
- ** Assists in recruitment process of Concierge and Marketing Assistant**:
- ** Identifies team member training and development needs and opportunities to enhance performance and foster growth**:
- ** Leads workplace investigation and progressive discipline processes pertaining to team members**:
- **Provides training to general team to answer inquiries and conduct tours when necessary.**:
- **Keeps the General Manager and Community Relations Director promptly and fully informed of all problems or unusual matters of significance and takes prompt corrective action where necessary or suggests alternative courses of action which may be taken.**:
- ** Performs all duties and responsibilities in a timely and effective manner in accordance with established company policies to achieve the overall objectives of the position.**:
- ** Ensures that the work environment is safe and healthy. Ensures that own work and the work of all staff is carried out in accordance with applicable environmental, health and safety legislation, policies and procedures and all other legislation, policies and procedures relevant to the work.**:

You must have:
- Graduate of a post-secondary sales and marketing program or related programs- Sales best practices, processes and theories- Excellent interpersonal skills with proven relationship selling skills- Superior oral, written and listening communication skills- Experience in developing and managing budgets.- And independent, capable leader who excels in a team environment
