Serving as a member of the International Education Department, the Administrative Assistant to the Administrator of International Education will have the opportunity to support daily operations, facilitate the department's workflow, and communicate with both internal and external stakeholders.

**WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT**:
Coordinate daily office operations and provide guidance to international education secretarial staff
Assist in the coordination of meetings, conferences and events with local and international agents, and student recruitment partners
Liaise with other departments, Principals/Vice Principals, Student Services, and the Ministry of Education regarding long-term and short-term international students to provide technical and interpretive information on behalf of students, their agencies and local custodians
Communicate with external stakeholders to facilitate problem resolution and provide support to international students
Monitor billing information for various international education projects
Preview reports and correspondence submitted to and by the Administrator of International Education to ensure relevance, accuracy and timely action
Coordinate and be available for after-hours international education department events scheduled for evenings and/or weekends to remain supportive of international partners’ different time zones
Support international student recruitment by overseeing the development of new marketing materials intended to increase VISA student enrolment
Liaise with industry associations such as CASP-I (Canadian Association of Public Schools International) and OASDI (Ontario Association of School Districts International) in order to provide up to date statistical information on enrolment, collaborative missions, and other related priorities
Create and post program materials on multiple social media platforms, including Instagram, X (Formerly Twitter) and Facebook on a consistent and frequent basis
Maintain a robust website that showcases our district’s international programming and initiatives across the system
May be required to work outside of office hours (evenings and weekends) when needed to accommodate short-term student groups and visitors
May be called to travel within Niagara or Greater Toronto Area for international education events, conferences and workshops
May be called to perform other duties as assigned
**WHAT YOU BRING**:
Grade 12 diploma and a minimum of two years of additional related post-secondary courses relevant to education, marketing, office administration, or a related field
Minimum three years’ experience in a related field or similar office environment
Superior written and oral communication skills
Versatility using social media platforms
Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
Thorough computer knowledge and experience using Adobe Suite, InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Microsoft Office
Comfortable interacting with individuals from other cultures/languages and demonstrate ability to deal with diverse business practices and timelines
This is a full time, permanent position.
**HOURS**: Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Some occasional after-hours work may be required
