**Duties**:
The Resource / Public Engagement Coordinator works under the direct supervision of the Consulate Public Affairs Officer (PAO) and has no supervisory responsibilities. Is the leading Public Diplomacy LE Staff responsible for the financial, program, human, and property resources that support Public Diplomacy (PD) projects and programs at Consulate Montreal. Oversees the Consulate’s use of multiple and diverse PD funding streams, and ensures their compliance with all relevant USG regulations and Canadian laws. Oversees Consulate Montreal’s PD grants, contracts, and acquisition and use of PD Section materials and equipment. Serves as primary liaison for the PD Section with Management Section; coordinates use of PD resources with Embassy Ottawa PD Section. Collaborates with the Public Engagement Coordinator to carry out projects and activities designed to reach Emerging Voices audiences, especially hands-on “learn by doing” activities defined as Experiential Learning (EXPL).

EXPERIENCE: A minimum of three (3) years of progressively responsible experience in a major organization in budget, accounting, multicultural, multinational, government, or museum environment with marketing, public relations, grants management, or education duties as significant parts of the job is required.
EDUCATION: A university degree in business administration, intercultural/multicultural studies, arts management, accounting, public administration, or related major is required.

Option 2
EXPERIENCE: A minimum of five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in a major organization in budget, accounting, multicultural, multinational, government, or museum environment with marketing, public relations, grants management, or education duties as significant parts of the job is required.
EDUCATION: Two (2) years of University Study in any field is required.
