**Qualifications**

**Responsibilities**
- In this Pet Food Baking role, you will optimize all raw and baking operations to support production of new and existing products
- You will also influence innovation and new product development
- Ensure dough, coatings and ingredients departments accurately scale and produce batches adhering to standards
- Conduct root cause analysis when product is not meeting standards
- Develop and implement a training program for those new to bakery operations
- Drive new product development while working closely with production
- Help cultivate a production culture of safety, consistency & quality
- Nurture a culture of reporting and correction of deficiencies
- Develop and enforce SOPs
- Assist with investigation of customer concerns or complaints
- Supervise a team of 5-10 associates through daily production activities.
- Take full responsibility of the quality and product that is produced within the shift in line with the company’s quality and food safety systems, processes, and procedures
- Maintain GMPs standards to ensure clean and safe workplace
- Optimize and maximize production efficiencies, while respecting quality, deadlines, costs, and Health and Safety
- Participate in special projects as assigned (HACCP, Continuous improvement activities, Kaizen, etc.)
- Manage, develop, and motivate direct reporting staff
- Monitor, measure and report on production related process performance, general issues. Ensure that team members are accountable for the effective utilization of company resources towards the attainment of best operating costs and other KPI's
- Ensure that Health and Safety rules and regulations are adhered to during the shift and all matters relating to this are dealt with using the resources within the company in line with the company’s Health and Safety policy
- Work closely with other Shift Supervisors to ensure shift handovers are carried out effectively
- Play an active role in the company’s continuous improvement plan to achieve plans for future growth within the company
- Role model the Company values in leading Associates
- Responsible for food safety, packaging materials safety, quality & promoting the Food Safety program & ensuring adherence to the food safety program by complying with the SQF standards and regulatory requirements
- To ensure excellence in the execution of the production process while providing workers the safest and healthiest work environment
- To ensure excellence in the quality and the conduct of the manufacturing process
- To ensure excellence in the development of team members along the values

**Salary**: $100,000.00-$120,000.00 per year
